Bitumen Corrugated Roofing Sheets

Roofing Sheets
Black – Brown – Red – Green – 930mm wide by 2000mm
These sheets are a thicker 2mm profile and offer a strong covering for a wide range of applications.
These corrugated bitumen sheets are useful for a number of uses including the following.
  • Car port roof/siding
  • Garden building roof – pegolas/pergodas
  • Shed replacement roof – massively outlasts felt offerings
  • Garage roof – replace your damaged metal roof or old asbestos roof
  • Farm buildings – roof and wall coverings
  • Log stores
  • Children’s play houses
They can be used horizontally on a roof and can also be used vertically. The fixing method remains the same.
Full fitting instructions can be supplied if needed. Failure to comply with these fitting instructions in anyway will invalidate any returns or replacement sheets, fixings or finishing trims.
More than 15 degree Pitch
For a roof with a pitch (angle) of more than 15 degrees, each sheet should be supported across its width by appropriate sized timber no less than 50cm (500mm) apart, measured centre to centre. If the sheets are to be overlapped on their length, they should be overlapped by no less than 18cm (180mm). Overlapping these sheets width ways by one corrugation is accepted at this pitch, making the width coverage 835mm.
Between 10 and 15 degree Pitch
For a roof with a pitch (angle) of between 10 and 15 degrees, each sheet should be supported across its width by appropriate sized timber no less than 40cm (400mm) apart, measured centre to centre. If the sheets are to be overlapped on their length, they should be overlapped by no less than 22cm (220mm). Overlapping these sheets width ways by one corrugation is accepted at this pitch, making the width coverage 835mm.
Between 5 and 10 degree Pitch
For a roof with a pitch (angle) of between 5 and 10 degrees, each sheet should be fully supported by appropriate sized sheet timber ‘deck’. If the sheets are to be overlapped on their length, they should be overlapped by no less than 32cm (320mm). Overlapping these sheets width ways by two corrugations is needed at this pitch, making the width coverage 740mm.
Less than 5 degree Pitch
These sheets are not suitable for a pitch of less than 5 degrees.

Eaves Fillers
Supplied in cream these are 900mm long and come in a pack of 4. Use these to stop unwanted insects and draughts from blowing up under the bottom of the roofing sheets. They are shaped to the corrugations of the sheet and are a simple snug fit.

Fixing Nails
Black – Brown – Red – Green
Supplied in a pack of 100. These are designed to mould to the shape of the corrugations to avoid leaks. These are a 75mm ring shanked nail with a plastic 20mm wide head on them colour coded to the sheet.
It is advised that for each sheet, approx 20 specially manufactured fixing nails/screws are used

Fixing Screws
Black – Brown – Red – Green
Supplied in a pack of 50. These are designed to mould to the shape of the corrugations to avoid leaks. Some people prefer to use screws over nails. Either is a suitable fixing method but the screws are able to be removed with minimal damage to the sheets.
It is advised that for each sheet, approx 20 specially manufactured fixing nails/screws are used
